Terms of service

Last updated: 30 October 2026

These terms apply to your use of FrameLedger, operated by FrameLedger. By creating an account or using FrameLedger, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use FrameLedger.

The service

FrameLedger is a research and production workspace for factual video creators. It helps you record claims, the evidence you gathered for them, and the sources and licences of your visual assets. You can use it on the free plan or subscribe to a paid plan. What each plan includes is described on the pricing page.

Paid plans, renewal and cancellation

  • Payments are processed by Stripe. The price, billing interval and any VAT or other tax are shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or annual period, charging the payment method you provided, until you cancel.
  • The workspace owner can change plan or billing interval, update the payment method, see invoices or cancel at any time under Settings → Manage subscription. If you cancel, you keep the paid plan until the end of the period you have paid for, and it does not renew.
  • If a payment fails, we and Stripe will retry it for a limited time and you keep the paid plan meanwhile. If it still cannot be collected, your workspace moves to the free plan.
  • Moving to the free plan never deletes your projects, channels, scripts or saved versions. Features and limits of the free plan apply until you subscribe again.
  • We may change prices for future periods. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before it does.
  • If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you may withdraw from a new subscription within 14 days of buying it by emailing frameledgerofficial@gmail.com. Because the service starts immediately at your request, we refund what you paid minus a proportionate amount for the days you already had the paid plan. Apart from this, and where the law requires otherwise, payments for a period that has started are not refunded.

What FrameLedger does not do

FrameLedger organises the records you enter. It does not check whether a claim is true, whether a source is reliable, or whether a licence is valid or covers your use. Review statuses and licence details are what you record. Nothing in FrameLedger is legal advice. You are responsible for the accuracy of your videos and for having the rights to the material you use.

Your account

You must be at least 16, give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Your content

You keep all rights to the content you add. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run FrameLedger for you. You confirm that you have the right to add it.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • break the law or infringe anyone else’s rights;
  • try to access other users’ data or our systems without permission;
  • upload malware, or overload, probe or disrupt the service;
  • access FrameLedger by automated means, or resell it, without our written permission.

Availability and changes

We work to keep FrameLedger available and your data safe, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”, without warranties, to the extent the law allows. We may change or remove features. If we shut FrameLedger down, we will give at least 30 days’ notice so you can export your projects.

Ending your account

You can stop using FrameLedger at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing frameledgerofficial@gmail.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with notice where reasonable.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Greece. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

Changes to these terms

We will update the date above when these terms change, and tell you about significant changes by email or in the app. If you keep using FrameLedger after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
